About Me

My passion is making a difference – understanding people’s needs, helping them get back to full health and range of movement… and dealing with stress, pain and injuries along the way. I love solving people’s problems using a range of massage techniques drawn from both Eastern and Western traditions. I am trained in disciplines including Sports and Remedial Massage, Yoga Massage, Ayurvedic Therapy and Tuina, as well as being a qualified and experienced Yoga Teacher.

I particularly enjoy working on sports injuries, such as those caused by running, cycling and weight training, and complex cases like myofibralgia (fibromyalgia) and disc issues. As a keen competitive cyclist myself I have had more than my fair share of aches, pains and injuries over the years. So I know just how much regular massage and/or yoga can benefit people. It also means that I can sympathise with clients’ issues and know the value of a sympathetic ear and a little TLC! My background is working in the NHS and I have been helping people with their physical and/or mental health issues for nearly 20 years.

I have been working at Derby Cottage Clinic – the cutting-edge osteopathic and sports injury clinic in Newmarket – as a Sports Massage Therapist since 2015. Working there I have been mentored by Bruce Smart, whose deep knowledge and outstanding track record of diagnosis and treatment continue to inspire me. I am fascinated in how the body works and always keen to learn more. I continue to study in my spare time and my massage and yoga practices are constantly evolving.
